About Binyuan Environmental

A wastewater treatment technology company that designs, builds and operates — based in China's densest cluster of water treatment manufacturing.

The company

Technology first, then the contract to run it

We are based in the Yixing Environmental Protection Industrial Park, a national high-tech development zone in Jiangsu. Our three business lines are water treatment technology and operations, development and supply of engineered bacterial cultures, and manufacture of treatment equipment.

We hold invention patent filings on two-phase catalytic oxidation, used for pretreatment and tertiary treatment of industrial wastewater, with several plants in service. With Harbin Institute of Technology we develop high-performance engineered cultures used for rapid start-up of biological systems and for low-temperature operation. We also work with Tansi Environmental on anammox.

  • In-house design, construction, commissioning and operations teams
  • Wholly-owned local operating subsidiary model, proven in Tibet
  • Own fermentation base for bacterial culture production
  • Own AI operations platform for predictive maintenance

Company timeline

2017

Yixing Binyuan Environmental Equipment Co., Ltd. established — the same legal entity, later renamed.

2018

Core business direction set: catalytic oxidation, bio-augmentation and packaged plants. First invention patent filings.

2019

Market network takes shape across industrial parks in Jiangsu, Shanghai, Jiangxi and Sichuan.

2020

Annual turnover doubles year on year while delivering the planned project book.

2021

Recognised as a high-tech enterprise and an early-stage "eaglet" enterprise; core technology established in the market.

2021 – 2023

Equipment R&D and manufacturing. A run of difficult industrial effluents — high salinity, strong colour, poor biodegradability.

2023 – 2026

Focus shifts to plant operations and maintenance. We run two treatment stations — 150 and 80 m³/day of pharmaceutical effluent — in the Suzhou Biopharmaceutical Industrial Park. Two years in, the client has just renewed both for three more.

Research

Four university partnerships, one joint centre

Long-running industry–academia collaboration around technology development, engineering deployment and technical services.

Harbin Institute of Technology

Engineered bacterial cultures

Strain isolation, bio-augmentation design, industrial fermentation and metagenomic analysis of what is actually living in the sludge. The cold-tolerant and salt-tolerant cultures come out of this work.

Southeast University · Xizang Minzu University

Plateau water environment centre

A joint research centre on wastewater treatment under high altitude, low temperature and low oxygen, with applied research and engineering demonstration at the Naqu plant.

Beijing Jiaotong · Sichuan · Hubei Polytechnic

Process and monitoring research

Strategic industry–academia cooperation across technology R&D, engineering deployment and technical services, feeding into our process design and control work.

Intellectual property

Invention patent filings

Both filings cover the catalytic oxidation process. They were filed under our former company name, Yixing Binyuan Environmental Equipment Co., Ltd. — the same legal entity, since renamed. The numbers can be checked on the CNIPA register.

Certificates

High-tech enterprise certificate, ISO 9001 / 14001, CE declarations for the control panels. Replace this block with scans once you have them — tender committees ask for these by name.

Send us your water analysis. We will send back a process and a price.

An incomplete enquiry is still worth sending — tell us the flow and what is failing, and we will tell you what we would do.
